Martian: Okay guys, this should be an easy kill. What the hell? My Heat Ray isn't doing anything to it. Does the Black Smoke work? No, it doesn't. Hmm, let's do what we did to those British soldiers in WWI and bash them against boulders- damn it! It doesn't work! It's like they're made of Martian Steel or something! Dalek: WEO-PON-RY IS NOT EFF-ECT-IVE! RE-CAL-CU-LAT-ING... Martian 2: Hey, since we can't beat them, and they can't beat us, let's use them as footballs! Martian: Hell yea! Quick, go long! Dalek:AH-AH-AH-AH-AH!!!! COM-EN-CING YOLD-ELING SE-QUENCE! Martian: Oh s***, run before our brains explode!
niether can be destroyed, niether can be penetrated, however the daleks are one of two of the oldests beings of all creation, with power over space and time. they immediatley would resort to biological warfare, debilitating to tripods, no threat to daleks. Daleks will reign supreme! its logic.
A lot of the time, I feel that Daleks may not be the greatest threat in terms of brute force, when compared to other sci-fi villains, but you must remember that Daleks are unalloyed geniuses. If they can't outgun you, they'll outwit you. Unfortunately, the episode "Dalek" was the only one that kinda reflected this.
Well the tripods are a more modern evil and probably wouldn't hesitate like the wonky slow moving daleks. Lets be honest, the doctor doesn't have any real powers and he couldn't travel time without the Tardis which can easily be factored out simply by imprisoning the doctor and taking his gear like that guy did to the 9th doctor when he wanted to keep him as a trophy in the Dalek episode. Also do the Tripods have anything organic about them? I believe the tripods have the ability to last longer from an efficiency standpoint not a life cycle one because they are giant armored titanic creatures and all the daleks have to fight them is plungers and taser beams. Dr Who is cool but I can't see the Daleks as a high threat in the real world
There are a billion things wrong with this statement. First of all, their laser beams are pretty much un-blockable by most things, They have a durability that can easily overpower armored cars and tanks, and that's before the new series. The fact that a whole swarm of them took down the Valiant, which easily dwarfs any Tripod. Factor in the fact that they are very adaptable with technology and are masters at biological warfare. Most also forget that they are usually successful without the Doctor around.
The Doctor does have powers, regeneration. And sometimes Super Strength, (The 8th Doctor had it, and it's canon)
Tripods are just machines that were defeated by bacteria and 19th level century technology.
